Purple Queen Anthias
A tropical trio with distinctive purple colours and fascinating haremic behaviour, the purple queen anthias (Pseudanthias tuka) are one of my favourite fish. These fish can vary a lot in colour, but have a distinctive purple body and orange band across their eyes. This painting shows a very small harem of one male and two female fish.
